Delois Jean Cash Hobson, but she always went by Lois with her friends, had sparkly eyes that lit up a room when she walked in it. She was kind and gracious and loved her family with her whole soul. Lois never met a stranger and everywhere we went she wound up chatting with someone. Her family extended far beyond blood relatives and included friends she had made around the world.

 

Lois loved to decorate! Her home was always so well decorated, it could be in a magazine. She was also a collector. She collected more things than I could have ever imagined, including bird houses, matches, antiques, ceramic dishes, decor for every season, and even disposable plastic cups that she continued to wash and use again. Christmas was her favorite time of year! She would bake for everyone and host parties to celebrate the season. It was also one of her favorite times to decorate for and we would joke that all throughout the month she would continue to add more decor.
